Curriculum Vitae (pdf)
Biography: Anne is originally from Berkeley California, but studied at Oberlin College in Ohio where she graduated with high honors in neuroscience. As an undergraduate, she conducted research in Dr. Jorge Ghiso's Alzheimer's disease pathology lab at NYU School of Medicine where she helped develop a novel technique for extracting amyloid-beta from human brain tissue. Her honors research with Dr. Jan Thornton focused on the role of luteinizing hormone in spatial memory and amyloid-beta secretion in rats. Anne moved back to California after graduation and worked as a research assistant for Dr. Blythe Corbett at the UC Davis M.I.N.D. (Medical Investigation of Neurodevelopmental Disorders) Institute where she coordinated an EEG and fMRI study of cross-modal attentional switching in children with ADHD and children with high functioning autism. Anne joined Dr. Adam Gazzaley's lab in the summer of 2007 and coordinates the lab's therapeutic intervention studies. Anne plans to go to graduate school in cognitive neuroscience.
